Are Mars Missions a hoax? (But a good one, perhaps)

For the Eleventh anniversary of Mars Rover Mission, NASA released this photo

Nothing quite weird, except for the HORRIBLE WORK OF PASTING THE RIGHT POLE, AND THE HORRIBLE COLOR WORKING...

If we put this photo on Photoshop and correct the colors, (Levels, RGB Automatic) the result is a Real BLUE-RED-WHITE american flag and not the PURPLE-RED-YELLOW original of the picture, and also, this...

It looks like a GREEN, BLUE SKIED, LIFE-FULL land, can you explain this, NASA, someone?

I rather believe that this is the Real Mars than an random Earth Place, I rather believe in Mars Forest than a dead spherical desert.
